Well suited to aggressive players, the Aerogel 500 performs exceptionally well in the hands of players with aggressive swing speeds who like to hit with pace and spin. The 16/18 string pattern offers plenty of bite on the ball and combined with the light swingweight (306 RDC), the Aerogel 500 is a very spin friendly racquet. From the baseline the racquet feels very maneuverable with easy access to fast swing speeds. The feel from the stringbed is very crisp and clean with a comfortable response, overall. The maneuverable feel of the racquet translates well to volleying. At the net the racquet feels very fast – ideal for fast volley exchanges. The light weight and easy swinging nature means there’s plenty of room to add weight for customization without making the racquet unwieldy.
